Impression
We visited the Malaysian pharmaceutical Y.S.PSAH
group this morning. First we listened carefully to Y.S.P first vice president,
who gave us information. She described the inner works of the company, industrial
structure and developing history so that we could have better understanding of this
industry. After listening to the information, we all knew clearly about this
group, so we started to look around. In the pharmaceutical factory, we saw
plenty of different pharmaceutical drugs, but most of them were in boxes. Although
we couldn’t see the drugs, the vice president still explained clearly to us. We
also went into the freezer and felt the temperature. This trip to the pharmacy
let us learn a lot about the operation and structure of an industry.
In the afternoon, we went to Badu Caves. Once
we got off the car, we saw a golden Lord Shiva stood in front of us, and we all
said together “WOW!” The steep stairs behind it was even more surprising to us.
This was the first time we saw a staircase that had nearly 300 stairs. We were
all shocked that we had to reach to the top or we couldn’t see the beautiful
view. At first, we chatted and even raced with each other. As our energy
started to go down, our speed gradually slow down. Finally, we arrived the Batu
Caves. It was really amazing! Inside the cave, the top temple was indeed picturesque.
In the limestone caves, carvings of Hindu mythology were all around. Praise the
splendid works of Mother Nature. When we looked up to the sky, there came a
patio which appeared to be shaped by erosion, and sunshine occasionally spilled
from it.
Then we came to the Petronas Twin Towers. We
were all very excited about the trip, because we had heard that this was once
the tallest building in the world. Although it wasn’t the tallest anymore, its
majesty still surprised us. In front of us, there stood two magnificent office
buildings. It was said that the building had 88 floors, but unfortunately we had
no way to reach the top floor. In the food court downstairs, we enjoyed the
local Malay-style dinner, and we also felt the enthusiasm of local service
personnel. We all hoped to have chances to come back visiting it again.
