An extraordinary experience

The first day of our educational trip was an extraordinary experience for all of us, in which unforgettable memories were created by us together. As we arrived at HongKong international airport, the magnificence totally impressed and astonished us. Although the temperature was really high that we were all complaining, the melting temperature was forgotten due to the stunning views around. The time we spent on the gondola was especially fascinating. We waved to all the passengers in the passing gondolas with passion, and they waved back to us, which excited us a lot. As we proceeded on our journey, we experienced new culture and environment. I once thought on the bus that it is fairly easy to cross the border between HongKong and Shenzhen, however, it was much more difficult and complicated than we had thought. We went off the bus, through a bid building with customs, then went on the bus again. Shenzhen was a completely new city for me. I was unfamiliar with everything here, which includes simplified Chinese, since this is the first time I was in China. I was curious about the surroundings, the culture, and everything here in Shenzhen. Even though people said that Taiwanese cuisine and Chinese cuisine are similar in terms of flavor and style, what we had for dinner were entirely distinctive dishes. However, I can strongly feel how China’s service in restaurants differs from the ones in Taiwan. We got a better service, a more delicate one, allowing us to have a more pleasant eating time. After dinner, we saw a lot of technological stores, such as phone and camera stores. We were dazzled by how advanced Shenzeng was, which changed our point of view, a not so good perspective towards China. In conclusion, the journey today brought us new experiences, including new cultures and views.
