In the gloomy morning, we woke up at 5:30. After we finished breakfast, we started the ninth day. After one hour on the bus, we arrived at the Thai- Chinese International School for the awarding ceremony. TCIS is a private, non-profit day school in Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province, in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region of Thailand. It was founded in 1995 for the purpose of providing English language education as well as Traditional Chinese language for the Taiwanese communities in Bangkok. In the opening ceremony, teachers and staff presented awards to students with interesting speech. The most importantly, In the beginning of the ceremony, Principle Wu states that in order for the students to be success in the future, every student have to notice small details and perfect them. At the same time, they have to learn from mistakes and never give up. This is one of the most memorable event in this trip, students were involved and enjoyed.
After finishing the lunch, we head to visit the mall and the market beside the train station. We had a fun time when we were visiting shops and exploring the tradition in Thailand.
After that, we went to Bangkok Art and Culture center. In this center, there are numerous painting and sculptures that were made with different material and different technique. In the center, there are paintings and sculptures made by different artist in Thailand. Every artists create different style in their arts. In this center, students learn different culture and arts in Thailand.
In the night, we went to the Siam Niramit, one of the largest theater in Bangkok. In Siam Niramit, we saw excellent performances. In the performance, actors perform different story to introduce the culture and the history of Thailand. In addition, this performance includes amazing special effects and use world's most advance technology to express and present the reality on the people in ancient Thailand. For me, the most memorable part in this show is the ancient punishment in Thailand. First, when people drink alcohol, they will be put into boiling water and drink the boiling water. Second, when people tell lies, their tongue will be cut. Third, when people kill animals, their viscera will be eaten by beasts. This performance involves interaction with the visitor, every people had a fun time
on this performance.
今天一早，我們來到了校長曾任職的TCIS學校參加頒獎典禮，為我們國中生活畫上一個句點。整個典禮不但沒有想像中那樣嚴肅，反而因為師長幽默的致詞和同學們熱情的歌唱表演而顯得活潑，充滿歡笑。下午去參觀的創意設計中心更是令人大開眼界。藝術家以不同的手法和呈現方式，表現出內心最真實的想法。有些作品中也深刻的向我們傳達了泰國的文化與精神。不過提到了泰國文化，晚上的暹羅劇場更是充分的展現了這一點。他們以最精湛的演技，將自己國家的精神與歷史完整呈現，帶給我們最絢麗的視覺饗宴。相信這些經驗與感受將會是我們這次旅程最寶貴的收穫。
