中學部馬新國際教育旅行:第二天


馬來西亞的華語種子濱華中學

教育目標與使命
今天我們參觀的濱華中學是一所傳承中華文化的學校,建立於西元1923年,距今已經有90年的歷史。在這所學校建立的路途中遭遇到了許多的波折和困難,在1923年華裔先賢於巴西的南部創立華僑夜校,因為之前馬來西亞曾被英國統治過,在統治的過程中濱華中學因被英國強制統治有所不滿,決定堅持自己的傳統,但英國始終堅持不讓濱華中學傳承華語,強迫他們說英語。因此1937年吳福發先生發起建校,1958年小學接收政府全部津貼,中學部改稱『華僑中學』。1988年開始籌款計畫,七年內籌獲450萬元建校,2004年全馬來西亞首創英語學校。



我們發現濱華中的學生很注重學校的教育使命、目標、和理念,還有人生的七個好習慣。學校希望學生快樂學習,例如:不斷更新,要事第一,和知彼知己等。


以下是我們對濱華中學的認識:

第一、教育使命。濱華的教育使命有四項,分別為:傳承和發揚中華文化、貫徹六貫(德、智、體、群、美、勞)、提升文化素養、培育適應能力。

第二、教育目標。培養高素質、有內涵的學生;培養三自(自治、自律、自愛);培養積極、樂觀、進取人生觀;培養探索、思考、解決問題能力;培養終身學習;培養具備中華文化素養,通三語(馬來,英語,華文)

設備方面
校內的設備十分的完善,雖然之前聽說校內建設的經費十分不足,且學生的學費僅200300馬幣,讓建設校區的更顯得禁見肘。幸好社會上有許多善心人士捐給學校經費,足以建設新校舍。之後為了紀念那些捐錢的善心人士,校舍都是以他們的姓名來命名。看見馬來西亞房屋有各式各樣的外觀,是因為馬來西亞這邊沒有天災,像地震、海嘯等,可以自由發揮。而濱華中學的校地不大,但是他們利用向上發展,使校地蓋得更好。


Pin Hwa High School's has a 90 year long history full of unpleasant twists and turns, all caused by the reign the English once had over them. Before, the Malaysians weren't allowed to teach and pass on chinese knowledge and traditions, but that was changed by Mr. Wu Fu Fa in 1937, also making Pin Hwa the first Malaysian English school.

Pin Hwa High School has four educational responsibilities, preserving and passing on Chinese culture, improving on the six habits (moral fiber, intelligence, physical intelligence, arts, and  labor), improving students' ability to appreciate different cultures, and sharpening students' ability to accustom to different situations.

Pin Hwa is a school that strives toward creating exquisite positive and connotational students who can discipline themselves, understand and cherish what they have. They never give up and all can speak Malaysian, English, and Chinese.

Although Pin Hwa High School can be said to be on the poor side of society without much income and resources, the school still has it's basic equipment and the construction of the building is very special, due to the many people who put in effort to raising and funding money for educational and constructive purposes. These people's names can now be seen on each building and floor to thank and remember them throughout the future. Because of the many natural disasters and lack of land, Pin Hwa can not afford to extend the school but to make it higher, making it better and unique.

交流感想
濱華中學是我們來到馬來西亞的重大行程之一。當我們還在車上時,就望見他們列隊整齊的等待迎接我們。下車時大家因為連續二天的早起不如以往活潑,但濱華中學的同學們充滿熱情的嘹亮歌聲深深打動著我們,讓我們對這所學校的學生第一印象是:好有禮貌、好活潑。


整整半天下來令我們印象深刻的有三項活動:入班上課、才藝表演以及籃球友誼賽。剛開我們因為感到陌生而緊張,所以的表現的有些不知如何是好,但親切的學伴們用充滿熱忱的嗓音以及話語打破了我們緊張感。剛入班時我們全部都戰戰兢兢,不斷的去想像待會兒上課的種種情形。不過三分之一的時間過後,我們發現根本無需擔心這麼多,班上的同學總是很友善的跟我們搭話,沒因為我們這些陌生的來客而表現出不自然的態度,老師也很熱心的頻頻關心我們有無任何的不適應,讓我們非常的感動。


緊接而來的是兩校的才藝表演活動。因為有入班上課時已醞釀出的愉悅氛圍,使得整個過程無論是在觀賞或表演,都能融入且陶醉其中,甚至不斷的歡呼到喉嚨都要啞了。濱華的同學們真是多才多藝又很踴躍發言,各個都是落落大方,都是很值得我們學習的。


最後是眾所期待的籃球友誼賽,熱愛籃球的男生們,實力相當堅強,殊不知隊友是身形雖然嬌小,伸手卻無比矯健,球技也相當精湛。雖然最後我們贏了,但這次的經驗也讓我們深刻體會到真正的運動家精神,真的要給雙方比一百個讚!

這次的交流我們可謂是獲益良多,期望下次還有機會能與濱華做交流, 互相學習。

Our first stop in Malaysia is Pin Hwa, and with the warm, polite, welcoming voices of the students it is the most impressive yet.

We were so nervous, meeting these Malaysian kids and being in the same class as them, but gradually, their warm friendly attitudes broke the ice between us, and we had such fun during the art performances and competitions. Even the smallest of the boys could play so agile and sharp, that we had to try so hard to beat them! Everyone was very positive toward the outcome of the scores, and we'd like to say to everyone, good job!

This day at Pin Hwa is a very hard-to-come-by chance, and we hope that every Kang Chiao student can come here too, even stay for longer, and get to know and interact with these Malaysian students.
